Getting There

Now it's easier than ever to get to Virgin Gorda!  Seaborne airlines has announced regular flight service from San Juan International (SJU) to Virgin Gorda.

Traveling from the USA / Canada via San Juan, Puerto Rico

San Juan lies approximately 70 miles to the west of the BVI's.  From San Juan, it's a short flight over to Virgin Gorda.  As a major international airport serving American Airlines' Caribbean hub, San Juan is an easy destination from most countries.  US Air, Delta, Spirit, Air Canada, West Jet, Northwest, United and many other regularly scheduled, charter and discount North American airlines have direct flights to SJU.

Seaborne airlines will begin daily flight service from San Juan to Virgin Gorda starting December 2012. Another convenient option is flying from San Juan to Virgin Gorda on Air Sunshine.

Charter carriers such as Del Air, Fly BVI, Virgin Gorda Air Charters and Island Birds also make the flight to Virgin Gorda during daylight hours.  Booking with a charter carrier can be an economical option if you have a group of five or more people arriving at the same time into San Juan or St. Martin.  You have the added bonus of a plane waiting for you (even if your aircraft is late).

Via Tortola

Another way to get to Virgin Gorda is to fly with LIAT or American Eagle directly into Tortola and then take a ferry from Tortola airport to Virgin Gorda, or use Seaborne airlines to get across.

From Europe via St. Martin (SXM)

St. Martin (SXM) lies about 70 miles to the east of the BVI's.  St. Martin is a major destination for many European carriers.  Fly BVI can take you from St. Martin to Virgin Gorda.
